Reviewed by Samantha Knollys Although Michael J Fox doesn't suffer from a heart complaint his Parkinson's disease poses many of the same problems as I encounter as a GUCH, e.g. learning to accept your condition and treating it as a 'gift' rather than a 'curse'. This quote from page 253 sums up the tone of the book: 'God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.'
