Patient Information Day - Leeds General Infirmary

GUCH PA has teamed up with Leeds General Infirmary to bring Dr Kate English, Jo and Emma ACHD nurse specialists and others to hold an information day for GUCHs' on May 10th 2008.
Following on from previous successful patient days we thought that Leeds was well placed to offer a great day out combined with hearing about new developments in cardiology and meeting other GUCHs' in an informal atmosphere.
The plan for the day......
10.00 Registration with Coffee
10.30 Dr Kate English talking about advances in GUCH medicine
11.15 ACHD Specialist Nurses discussing GUCH patient issues
12.00 Access to Work Speaker to be confirmed
12.45 Lunch and general discussion
13.30 Lunch, evaluation and close
This will be a great way of combining a little bit of education with the support that is gained from meeting others following a similar life journey. It is planned that the information given will be of interest to all GUCHs' and their relatives from young adults to those of us on the mature side of 25............. It will be great to meet you.
