Development Worker Central and Eastern England (self employed)

GUCH Patients Association is looking for a Development Worker (on a freelance basis) in central and eastern areas of England. Work involves liaising with NHS services based in, Birmingham Leicester and Norwich. Some fundraising support will also be necessary.

Suitable candidates will have a very good knowledge of issues affecting GUCH patients and an understanding of GUCH services. A track record of organising events and working in, or liaising with health services is essential.

Self employed workers will be paid at a rate of £110 per day; they will be responsible for paying any taxes due themselves and will not be employees of GUCH PA. Initial contract is likely to be for around 9 days per year and travel / administration expenses of up to £400 per year can be reimbursed on production of receipts.
