Role Description Proofreader/Reviewer
Responsible to: Volunteer Development Manager
Main purpose:
- To check through key GUCH PA documents and literature for errors and omissions.
- To review GUCH PA literature from the patients' perspective
Key Responsibilities:
- To review text, either on paper or electronic for typos and formatting errors.
- To check for grammar and spelling errors.
- To check for consistency issues and word choice.
- To check documents can be understood by everyone
Requirements:
- Very good understanding of written English
- Commitment to confidentiality
- Tolerance of authors' styles
- Work within GUCH PA's policies and procedures
- To work to the high standards set by GUCH PA
Desirable: Experience proofreading
Based at: Home
Commitment: Minimum 2.5 hours per month
