Role Description Fundraiser

Responsible to: Volunteer Development Manager

Main purpose: To take an active role to increase GUCH PA's income

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new fundraising ideas
• Engage other volunteers in fundraising
• Organise and deliver events and charity collections
• Identify and approach potential local sponsors

Requirements:

• Aged 18 years and over
• Confident and effective communicator
• Enthusiastic attitude
• Work within GUCH PA's policies and procedures
• Attend ongoing training
• To work to the high standards set by GUCH PA
• Keep appropriate records of activities
• To give reasonable notice of non-availability.
• Willing to undergo a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check
• Comply with charity law
• Honesty
• Self motivated

Desirable:

• Marketing/fundraising background
• Flexibility
• Innovative and creative

Based at: Home, with access to a landline

Commitment: Minimum 4 hours per month
