Role Description Information Awareness

Responsible to: Volunteer Development Manager

Main purpose: To distribute information and raise awareness of congenital heart conditions and GUCH PA's services.

Key Responsibilities:

• To identify opportunities where publicity or information would be useful
• Distribute GUCH PA information obtaining permission where necessary
• Ensure that information is up-to-date and replenished
• Represent and promote GUCH PA at local awareness days

Requirements:

• Able to travel locally
• Work within GUCH PA's policies and procedures
• Commitment to confidentiality
• Attend ongoing training
• To work to the high standards set by GUCH PA
• Willing to undergo a Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) check (if taking part in awareness events)

Desirable: Friendly and outgoing

Based at: Home, with local travel

Commitment: Minimum 2.5 hours per month
