Represent GUCH in Denmark this summer 30th July - 3rd August 2012What is it!?
Every two years GUCH patients from across Europe come together at the Eurohearts Conferences to socialize, share experiences and learn from one another. Friendships are forged, ideas are discussed and contacts are created. Over the years these conferences have provided invaluable opportunities for learning about how different groups organise themselves to support GUCHs and how they campaign for better healthcare. They are tiring but rewarding and to be selected to represent GUCH PA at one really is a golden opportunity.
This summer the conference will be held near Copenhagen in Denmark between the 30th July and the 3rd August. If you would like to be there and think you could work as part of the team representing GUCH PA, why not apply today?
What do I need to do?
Alongside members of the GUCH International Group (GIG), representatives will be meeting prior to Denmark to discuss our objectives for the conference and to produce a poster about GUCH PA presenting to others who we are and what we do. We'd also like you to write a report of the conference telling us about your experiences of it. We hope that those chosen to attend can get as much out of the experience as possible and that following the conference, you'll be really keen to stay involved!
You will need to be comfortable travelling to and from the event on your own and arranging your own flights (though full reimbursement will be given).
