The National Self-Harm Network has resources and information, a message board for people who self-harm and a telephone support line. Telephone Support line 0800 622 6000 Thurs-Sat 7-11pm and Sun 6.30pm -10.30pm
Bristol Crisis Service for Women has online resources and self-help booklets plus a helpline
Helpline 0117 925 1119 Fri+Sat 9pm-12.30am, Sun 6-9pm
Yhey also have a pecialist email and text support for girls and young women affected by self-harm. Text 07800 472 908 for support.
Calmzone for young men who are feeling down, self harming or suicidal.

Feeling Like Ending It All?
Sometimes feelings and situations can become overwhelming and lead people to feel suicidal. This can be scary and at times of crisis it is important to:- Get support - talk to someone or ring a helpline
- Wait - give yourself some time. Suicide is final and there is no going back
- Find ways of keeping yourself safe
- Remember feelings change and can be moved through. Wrap up in the duvet and hold in there
- Distract yourself by getting involved with other activities
24 hr helpline for people who are suicidal or in despair.

Your GP or in a crisis you can go to your local Accident and Emergency and ask for a mental health assessment. There is always a duty psychiatrist available.
